Museum Highlights - Museum Of London

The Museum of London exists to inspire a passion for London. As the single most important source of knowledge on the nation's capital, it is uniquely both a national and local museum. Over a million objects are held in the Museum's stores, cared forby curators and conservators who are all leaders in their field. By selecting significant pieces of ceramics, jewellery, paintings, photographs, printed ephemera, sculpture and a range of commercial, industrial and domestic items from the entire collection, this book conveys the sheer size and variety of the Museum's holdings. With specially commissioned colour photographs and monochrome archival prints, it dramatically displays every aspect of London.
