Structural Dynamics In Aeronautical Engineering

A textbook for senior undergraduate or first-year graduate students in aeronautical and aerospace engineering who have completed the mathematics courses usual to such curricula. Begins the treatment of the fundamental concepts of structural dynamics and aeroelasticity by introducing matrix algebra and techniques and principles that used later in the text. Then covers linear systems with one and with more than one degrees of freedom, the dynamics of continuous elastic bodies, nonlinear systems, random vibrations, the typical section in aeroelasticity, the aeroelasticity of flight vehicles, and the aeroelasticity of plates and shells. Does not cover advanced matters or those that are adequately covered in other recent publications.
