Alessandra Bigi Iotti and Giulio Zavatta are noted art historians, authors, and professors who have organised exhibitions, events, and conferences in Italy and abroad. In this book, they take the reader on a journey through art galleries, museums, and places of worship, looking for celebrated as well as forgotten masterpieces of Mannerism – the most controversial style of the Renaissance period.
