International Futurism In Arts And Literature

This publication presents an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective on Futurism in a variety of countries and artistic media. Nineteen internationally renowned scholars discuss up-to-date information on how the Futurist movement, founded by the Italian poet F.T. Marinetti in 1909, shaped the concept of a cultural avant-garde and how it influenced the development of a modernist art and literature around the world.
