Go Native

Go Native is a Go Fish card game that celebrates California’s native plants and fosters ecological awareness. Each card features vibrant illustrations by Lesley Goren, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of these plants, along with their scientific and common names. The game is accompanied by a booklet offering insights into plant families, their connections, and their essential role in California’s culture, history, and ecosystems. Rooted in the belief that learning is most impactful when it’s fun, Go Native combines interactive gameplay with educational content, providing an engaging experience for families, educators, and nature enthusiasts of all ages. Through playing Go Native, participants will begin to recognise these plants in their surroundings and gain a deeper appreciation for the vital role they play in California’s diverse ecosystems.
